Twenty is hiring a Generalist Field Software Engineer to serve as an on-site engineering presence for a government customer in a restricted, air-gapped environment. The role covers customer-specific features and integrations, data pipelines and AI-backed capabilities, production deployments, monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and core product engineering. It requires 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, strong generalist programming ability in Go, Python, or TypeScript, production systems experience, and the ability to work full-time on-site at a government facility in Northern Virginia with travel to Arlington, Virginia.
