Description

Fora is hiring a Senior / Staff Full Stack Engineer to build and improve its AI-driven Via product and infrastructure. The role focuses on MCP tooling, agent orchestration, streaming responses, multi-step workflows, guardrails, evaluations, observability, performance, and reliability across Django, React/Vue/Angular, Python, APIs, and distributed systems. The position is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule and offers $185,000 to $235,000 plus equity, health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of backend and frontend development
3+ years using React, Vue.js, or Angular.io
3+ years using Python with Django, Flask, or an alternative
Experience building stateful and event-driven web applications
Experience testing web applications
API and distributed-systems design with relational databases and ORMs
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features in production
