Wayve is hiring a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer for its AV Core organization to lead learned emergency manoeuvre prediction and collision detection models. The role owns the full lifecycle from research and offline/online experiments through model training, deployment, evaluation, integration, and deployment evidence, while collaborating with research, simulation, evaluation, and product engineering. It requires strong ML engineering, Python and PyTorch, software engineering, experimental judgement, and senior-level ownership; prior autonomous-vehicle or robotics deployment experience is desirable. The position is full-time and hybrid in Sunnyvale, with an estimated salary of $311,850 to $389,400 plus equity.
