Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer (Reinforcement Learning), Motion Planning at PlusAI

PlusAI is hiring a Reinforcement Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy learned behavior planning models for autonomous driving. The role owns the end-to-end reinforcement learning pipeline, contributes to distributed training infrastructure, analyzes model performance and failure modes, and collaborates with simulation and planning teams to deploy models. Candidates need a master’s or PhD in a relevant field, production C/C++ and Python experience, PyTorch and reinforcement learning experience, and strong communication skills; experience with high-throughput simulators, self-play, sim-to-real, and learned behavior planning is preferred.
