Description
CHAOS Industries is hiring a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design, packaging, integration, analysis, prototyping, qualification, production transition, and sustainment of ruggedized electronic hardware, sensor systems, avionics, structures, mechanisms, and related support equipment for dual-use aerospace and defense applications. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience, strong CAD and systems integration expertise, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. It is a full-time, on-site position in El Segundo, California, with a targeted base salary of $198,000–$248,000 and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
