Description
Lambda is hiring a Senior Staff Network Engineer to own the architecture and production-scale design, build, automation, and operation of major backend, frontend, backbone, and edge network areas. The role leads cross-team networking projects, sets design and code-review standards, escalates production issues, integrates network hardware and software, mentors engineers, and contributes to multi-year network strategy. It requires significant production network experience, expertise in data center, backbone, and internet protocols, cloud provider networking, Linux, automation, and multiple network vendor environments. The position requires presence in the Bellevue or San Francisco office four days per week, with Tuesday as the designated work-from-home day.
