Description
AppGate is hiring a Senior/Staff Observability Engineer to architect and implement an OpenTelemetry-native observability fabric for its Zero Trust Network Access platform. The role owns telemetry SDKs, the LogForwarder pipeline, distributed tracing, schema and correlation design, and integrations with tools like Datadog, Splunk, Nexthink, and Elastic, with an emphasis on scaling to 100M+ events per day. The engineer will work across clients, controllers, gateways, and customer integrations, collaborate with product and R&D, mentor engineers, and help build an observability platform and future AI-driven incident analysis capabilities for defense and critical infrastructure customers.
