Description

Wabtec is hiring a Senior Staff Product Engineer to lead the design, development, deployment, and technical architecture of Digital Onboard Solutions Engineering (DOSE) Electronic Braking technology for the rail industry. The role serves as a technical architect and customer-facing engineering leader, coordinating global cross-functional teams, product lifecycle activities, proposals, technical reviews, customer documentation, locomotive integration, and program execution. Candidates need a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, at least seven years of hands-on engineering experience, and at least one year of experience with locomotive electronic braking systems. The role offers a base salary of $104,800–$149,300 and may include relocation assistance.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical training and demonstrated relevant experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 7 years of hands-on design, requirements development, and implementation experience involving engineering systems, hardware/software engineering, and/or data information systems.
At least 1 year of experience with locomotive electronic braking systems.
Locomotive control systems experience.
Experience with communication systems.
Experience in computer networking.
Experience in software deployment and configuration management.
