Description
The Senior/Staff Python Developer is a full-time, hybrid, backend-focused product engineer based in Downtown Toronto. The role owns features end to end, builds and ships backend functionality, debugs customer-facing production issues, and integrates third-party systems using Python, Flask, HTMX, GraphQL, and REST APIs. Candidates need 5 to 8+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, strong backend and system-design skills, microservices experience, and the ability to work through ambiguity in a high-ownership environment. Compensation is $150,000 to $200,000 base CAD depending on seniority.
