The Gemini Research Scientist will specialize in core modeling and post-training for large-scale agent post-training in the Gemini model recipe, from hypothesis formulation through delivery. The role involves designing and executing ablation studies, communicating research findings, developing data-analysis and model-evaluation infrastructure, and collaborating with research scientists and engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 5 years of design and architecture and software-product experience, and experience with large language models, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.
