Kaseya is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer – DevTest / QA Automation to design, build, and maintain automated testing capabilities for enterprise software platforms. The role focuses on creating test frameworks, libraries, infrastructure, and large-scale automated test suites; integrating tests into CI/CD; using AI coding assistants; and troubleshooting application, environment, and production issues. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 12+ years of software engineering, SDET, DevTest, or QA automation experience, strong programming skills, and experience with cloud environments, APIs, distributed systems, and production troubleshooting.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 12+ years of software engineering, SDET, DevTest, or QA automation experience
Experience building automation frameworks, test libraries, reusable testing components, and automation infrastructure
Experience developing automated tests for APIs, backend services, web applications, distributed systems, or enterprise software
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud environments
Experience troubleshooting complex application and production issues
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with enterprise SaaS, IT management, cybersecurity, endpoint management, or RMM platforms
Deep AWS and cloud-hosted, data center, or hybrid environment experience
Experience designing and maintaining large-scale SDET/DevTest automation frameworks
Experience with API, integration, contract, service virtualization, or distributed-system testing
Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST-assured, pytest, JUnit, or TestNG
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized test environments
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Experience using AI coding agents for code, test, debugging, refactoring, and optimization tasks
Understanding of application security, scalability, reliability, observability, and distributed-system behavior
Experience building scalable, reliable automation
Strong ownership and ability to independently drive automation initiatives
