ServiceNow is hiring a Distributed Systems Engineer to build and own the runtime infrastructure powering Moveworks' AI agents. The role focuses on agent orchestration, distributed session management, event-driven pipelines, structured concurrency, observability, caching, and state layers. Candidates need at least 12 years of experience building production backend or infrastructure systems, strong Python or Go skills, experience operating systems handling real traffic at scale, and familiarity with distributed systems, async programming, message queues, databases, observability, and gRPC/protobuf.
