Alarm.com is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer for its Platform team to drive technical discovery, architecture, design, implementation, and production support of large-scale applications and platforms. The role involves mentoring engineers, leading software components, researching technologies, collaborating with product and business stakeholders, supporting capacity and database strategies, and participating in on-call and deployment activities. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 10 years of professional software development experience, software architecture expertise, and extensive observability and database experience. The position is office-based four days per week and offers a base salary of $180,000 to $205,000 USD.
