Description
Kaseya is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership across its SaaS platforms and shared backend services. The role combines deep expertise in Java, distributed systems, cloud architecture, and software design with AI-native development practices, including the use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code. Responsibilities include defining architecture, leading complex cross-team initiatives, implementing and operating critical software, establishing engineering standards, mentoring engineers, and improving reliability, observability, performance, security, and operational readiness. The position requires at least 10 years of software engineering experience and 6 years developing production backend services with Java, along with experience in distributed systems, cloud platforms, architecture reviews, and AI-assisted development.
