ServiceNow is hiring a Platform Engineer to develop and maintain the server-side JavaScript engine and runtime that powers custom applications, workflows, and business logic. The role focuses on optimizing execution engines, JIT/AOT compilation pipelines, memory management, concurrency, performance, profiling, and debugging; building scalable, reusable code; owning software from design through delivery; and mentoring colleagues. Candidates need 12+ years of Java or similar object-oriented language experience, including at least 5+ years with compiler, runtime, JIT/AOT, or language execution-engine systems, along with experience in AI integration, relational databases, modern web frameworks, and low-level systems engineering.
