Description
Pika is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, Backend to lead and scale the backend infrastructure supporting its user-facing AI creative products. The role owns scalable backend systems, APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, real-time collaboration features, and AI-driven product capabilities, while leading architecture decisions, code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering mentorship. Candidates need at least five years of backend software engineering experience, including two years in senior backend roles, along with expertise in distributed systems, RESTful and real-time APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure. The position is based in Palo Alto, California, with a hybrid in-office arrangement.
