Scout Motors is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead digital-product engineering across order management, customer management, marketing, production, inventory, loyalty, merchandise, servicing, mobile apps, vehicle connectivity, and related systems. The role defines long-term technical strategy, scalable architecture, engineering standards, and governance; leads large multi-year initiatives; mentors senior and staff engineers; and represents engineering with executive, partner, vendor, and technology stakeholders. It is based in Fremont, California, with 1–3 days per week in the office, and offers a base salary of $180,000–$220,000, with higher California, Washington, and New York ranges.
