Airwallex is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for its Citizen Developers Infrastructure team in Singapore. The role designs, builds, and operates backend platform services and workflow automation tools that enable non-product engineering teams to safely create and run applications and workflows. Responsibilities include establishing secure software development lifecycles, developing self-service development and operations tooling, maintaining Temporal-based workflow infrastructure, contributing to Kubernetes and GitOps foundations, participating in code reviews and on-call rotation, and documenting standards and reference architectures. The position requires at least six years of software or platform engineering experience, strong backend or platform service experience, and familiarity with languages such as Golang, Java, Python, or Bash, along with Kubernetes, GitOps, and workflow systems.
