Scout Motors is hiring a full-time Android Software Engineer to design and implement Kotlin-based Android, AOSP, and AAOS applications, frameworks, and SDKs; deliver features and bug fixes; apply test-driven development; participate in code reviews; author technical documentation and roadmaps; and provide technical leadership. The role is based in Fremont, California or Charlotte, North Carolina, requires regular in-person attendance, and requires a computer science or related degree, extensive Android and software architecture knowledge, and 10+ years of Android application software development experience. The position offers a base salary of $198,000 to $240,000 in California, Washington, and New York, plus medical, dental, vision, income protection, retirement, paid time off, and parental leave benefits.
