Description

Snorkel AI is hiring Platform Engineers to build and operate agent infrastructure, event-driven data flows, data access layers, governance and RBAC systems, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and cost-optimized services. The role requires 5+ years of production platform, backend, or data-systems experience, strong Python and REST API skills, distributed-systems and cloud expertise, and familiarity with data orchestration, governance, and developer tooling. The position offers a salary range of $220,000 to $300,000 USD.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years building platform infrastructure, backend services, or data systems in production
Experience designing REST APIs for internal services and developers
Hands-on experience with S3, RDS, EKS, EventBridge, and IAM
Experience working in a Terraform-managed environment
Familiarity with data orchestration and transformation tools
Experience leading complex engineering initiatives and delivering measurable impact
Preferred Qualifications: AWS cloud experience
Experience building shared libraries or SDKs
Experience with event-driven architectures
Experience with OpenTelemetry or observability infrastructure
Experience in regulated environments
Experience with Ray or distributed compute frameworks
Experience in hyper-growth startup or scaling engineering environments
