Description
Dremio is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer for its Query Execution team to build and optimize the runtime that executes analytical queries at scale. The role focuses on query operators, expression evaluation, execution scheduling, runtime planning, memory and resource management, vectorized processing, concurrency, parallelism, JVM and Java optimization, and performance diagnostics. The engineer will collaborate with query-engine, product, support, and field engineering teams, use AI-assisted development tools, and contribute to design reviews, technical direction, and mentoring.
