Antares is hiring a Staff Space Electrical Systems Engineer to own the electrical system architecture for terrestrial and space nuclear reactors and testbeds. The role covers power distribution, instrumentation and controls, hardware-based control systems, electronics design, integration, bring-up, troubleshooting, documentation, regulatory coordination, and documented safety analysis. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical or control systems engineering and at least 8 years of experience designing and analyzing electrical or instrumentation systems; nuclear, aerospace, energy, or industrial automation experience is preferred. The position is based in Torrance, California, with occasional travel and flexibility for hardware development milestones.
