Description

Cohesity is seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Account Executive to lead and grow a specific strategic territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients and expanding existing ones, focusing on securing Cohesity's AI-powered data security platform as critical infrastructure for cyber resilience and data protection. This role demands meticulous territory planning, strong leadership presence, and the capability to successfully negotiate and close significant strategic deals.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Demonstrated experience selling into and partnering with Information Security / Cybersecurity teams.
Extensive success in a quota-carrying, customer-facing strategic sales role selling complex technology solutions.
Demonstrated experience selling into strategic accounts with multiple stakeholders and complex sales cycles.
Strong track record of negotiating and closing high-value strategic contracts.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles)
Expertise with NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale, including immutable storage, hardened media servers, ACL-based controls, and encryption
Knowledge of data security architectures, ransomware resilience, and the competitive landscape
Experience working with channel partners and cross-functional deal teams.
