As a Senior Structural Engineer at BGS Engineering, you will lead a team responsible for designing agricultural grain storage, handling, and conditioning equipment. This involves performing structural design and analysis, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of structural steel design
experience in agricultural or industrial projects is preferred
recent college graduate with 1 year of experience within a similar industry
Preferred Qualifications: PE certification is a plus.
Solid understanding of structural analysis and structural steel design: AISC 360, AISC 341;
knowledge of codes including: International Building Code, ASCE 7, OSHA 1910;
detail-oriented, thorough, with the ability to complete projects on time.
Knowledge and previous training in 3D structural analysis software, preferably RISA;
experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Ability to engage with other team members, consultants, and others to meet agreed timelines, and budgets;
organized, good at setting reasonable yet aggressive project plans and timelines, can take a little risk to meet objectives, innovative and creative in thought processes, desire to build a career by creating an impact in the role, can work independently with a high level of integrity and is self-directed with a high customer focus, can manage ambiguity and changing priorities.
