Description

BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer in Barrow-in-Furness to support submarine build activities within the Production Engineering Department. The role involves complex structural analysis, design and engineering assessments, using Eurocodes, British Standards, FEA, CAD modelling, and hand calculations to support manufacturing, assembly, lifting, handling, installation, and technical deliverables for safety-critical systems. The position is hybrid, offers relocation support subject to eligibility, requires an engineering degree or HND with extensive relevant experience, and has a closing date of 17 August 2026.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards
