Description
The Structural Bridge Engineer serves as an autonomous project contact and may manage complex, high-risk projects, developing estimates, pricing, scopes, designs, contract documents, and client relationships. The role includes structural calculations, modeling, AutoCAD or MicroStation detailing, bridge component design, field inspections, shop-drawing reviews, RFIs, quality control, project billing, and team mentoring. It requires a civil or structural engineering bachelor’s degree, at least eight years of progressive structural bridge engineering experience, PE and Structural Engineer licenses, and the ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
