Description
The Senior Infrastructure Structural Engineer provides structural direction for complex civil infrastructure projects, including bridges, viaducts, underpasses, quay walls, and other structures. The role covers design philosophy, assumptions, load scenarios, concept through final design, complex concrete, steel, and hybrid calculations, strength and stability checks, fatigue and service-life analyses, and finite-element model validation. The engineer also reviews colleagues’ work, supports construction deviations, mentors others, and contributes to multidisciplinary project teams. The position requires a civil or structural engineering degree, extensive infrastructure or hydraulic engineering experience, knowledge of reinforced and prestressed concrete and steel, Eurocodes and Dutch guidelines, and familiarity with structural analysis software.
