Description
HDR is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer for its Building Engineering Services group in downtown Chicago. The role independently leads structural design teams through design development and contract documents, provides technical guidance and quality reviews, coordinates multidisciplinary BIM and project work, develops structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and workflows, and supports client, agency, marketing, and project-planning activities. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, at least 10 years of building-design structural engineering experience, a professional engineering license, proficiency with structural design and analytical software, and experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures. Data center experience, a master's degree, and Revit proficiency are preferred.
