J.S. Held is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer to investigate and evaluate damaged residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional properties after disasters, assess structural elements, research failure modes and code requirements, prepare restoration and new-building designs and drawings, manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and officials, and submit detailed reports. The role requires a civil or structural engineering degree and P.Eng. designation, 7–10 years of structural design experience including at least 3 years in wood-frame construction, project management experience, CAD and REVIT proficiency, and the ability to travel throughout Ontario and work in a hybrid environment. The position is based in Etobicoke with remote work when needed and offers medical, dental, and vision insurance.
