Description
Isar Aerospace is hiring an Aerospace Structural Design Engineer to design and develop primary and secondary composite and metallic structures for the Spectrum launch vehicle. The role includes creating CAD models and manufacturing drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, establishing design standards, conducting reviews and trade-off studies, managing requirements and engineering change requests, supporting suppliers, and mentoring design engineers. The position requires an M.Sc. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field, at least 8 years of aerospace structures design experience, knowledge of lightweight and composite structures and carbon-composite manufacturing, and fluency in English.
