Description

Dashiell is hiring a remote Senior Consultant to review and audit electrical substation design packages, enforce engineering standards, improve QAQC processes, lead training and mentoring, coordinate standardized engineering practices, and support engineering projects as needed. The role reports to the VP of Engineering, requires periodic travel to the Ruston, Louisiana office, and requires a relevant bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of electrical substation engineering experience, and a licensed Professional Engineer status.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a relevant field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 10 years of hands-on electrical substation engineering and design experience
Experience developing or delivering technical training programs, mentoring engineers, or implementing quality standards and procedures
Experience coordinating or standardizing engineering practices across multiple offices, groups, or project teams
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a formal QAQC, quality management, or technical review role within an engineering or EPC environment
Familiarity with document management systems, SharePoint course development, or engineering workflow tools
Experience supporting customer-facing technical discussions or engineering audits
Prior experience serving as Engineer of Record across multiple project types
