Description
HDR is hiring a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to lead and execute technical work for moderate- to high-complexity substation projects in its Power sector. The role includes developing and reviewing studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and other engineering deliverables; assigning tasks and directing junior staff; performing quality control reviews; mentoring EITs and designers; and contributing to technical papers and presentations. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 10 years of experience including at least 8 years of substation design experience, a recognized professional engineering license, extensive Power Market Sector project execution experience, and proficiency with electrical and power-sector design software.
