Description
HDR seeks a Senior Substation Technical Specialist to support electrical substation engineering for low-, medium-, and high-voltage power utility projects. The role includes preparing engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs; developing protection and control, SCADA, communications, physical layout, grounding, conduit, cable, and AC/DC system deliverables; coordinating with CAD designers and other disciplines; and reviewing design work. The position requires an associate degree in engineering or equivalent experience, at least 15 years of engineering experience, discipline-specific computer application proficiency, industry standards knowledge, multidisciplinary collaboration, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication skills.
