Description
The Supplier Engineer manages supplier quality, material acceptance, supplier performance, corrective actions, and purchased-material qualification across global sites. The role supports quality, cost, service, and continuous improvement in the supply chain; investigates material quality issues; develops new supply sources; approves supplier process changes; and leads material value-improvement projects. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent field, at least 9 years of Supplier Engineering or similar experience, knowledge of quality and statistical methods, and the ability to work independently with global cross-functional teams.
