Surrey Choices is hiring a Senior Support Worker for its Short Breaks team in Woking, Surrey. The role oversees the daily running of a respite service for people with disabilities, leads shifts, provides formal and informal supervision to Support Workers, ensures compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, and promotes person-centred support. It is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week position on a four-week rolling rota covering seven days, including long-day, late, and early shifts, with every-other-weekend and occasional sleep-in duties. The salary is £29,900 to £31,460 per annum, with benefits including training, leave, pension, sick pay, and other employee schemes.
