Description
NVIDIA is seeking a Researcher specializing in Ethernet Networks and Switch ASICs to research switch-level capabilities for cluster-scale AI computing, explore hardware/software tradeoffs, investigate machine-learning methods for network traffic and control-plane assistance, build proof-of-concepts, evaluate emerging protocols and open-source initiatives, and collaborate with architects and development teams. The role requires a master's or doctoral degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least 12 years of experience in system architecture, networking technologies, and embedded software, including at least 3 years as a researcher, along with expert knowledge of Ethernet/IP, large-scale network behavior, network simulation, and distributed computing workloads.
