Description
Smart Working is hiring a Senior Symfony Engineer for a long-term, full-time remote role focused on mission-critical backend systems. The engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain PHP and Symfony solutions; own features end to end; apply design patterns and TDD; maintain automated test coverage; participate in code reviews and on-call duties; mentor junior and mid-level engineers; and document architecture and processes. The role requires at least five years of professional PHP experience and three years of hands-on Symfony experience, with additional experience in testing, static analysis, CI/CD, and secure coding preferred or beneficial.
