Description
The employer is hiring a permanent Senior System Engineer Linux to operate, develop, and modernize Linux and Windows IT infrastructure, manage networks and virtualization, support storage and backup systems, migrate virtual machines from VMware to Proxmox, resolve complex incidents, automate services, and contribute to security and compliance projects. The role requires several years of system engineering or senior system administration experience, strong Linux and Windows Server knowledge, network troubleshooting skills, Proxmox or VMware/ESXi experience, storage and backup knowledge, and automation experience with Ansible, Shell, or Python. The position offers a gross annual salary of €70,000–€85,000, a hybrid model with three remote days per week, and additional benefits.
