Description
The employer is seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer focused on Open Source, Linux, and DevOps for a long-term digitalization project in a safety-critical environment. The role involves installing, integrating, and developing open-source applications in a highly available and security-relevant private cloud, operating applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift, automating infrastructure and operations with Ansible, supporting incident resolution, developing Python and Shell tools, and implementing GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD practices. The position requires strong Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux expertise, container orchestration experience, open-source application integration experience, networking and security knowledge, and advanced German and English language skills.
