Description
Eversource is hiring one Senior System Operator to provide operational direction and oversight for the safe, reliable, and economical dispatch of New Hampshire’s interconnected bulk transmission and distribution systems. The role coordinates minute-to-minute system operations, equipment outage scheduling, emergency procedures, SCADA-based fault isolation and restoration, contingency studies, and compliance with NERC, ISO-NE, and other regulatory requirements. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, NERC Transmission Operator Certification, a valid motor vehicle operator’s license, and at least ten years of related dispatching or equivalent operations experience, or three years in the ESCC System Operator position with a proven leadership track record. The starting rate of pay is $71.09, and the position requires emergency storm assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.
