Description
The System Performance Engineer will characterize and optimize Ethernet processing solutions across hardware, firmware, software, and system-level architectures. The role focuses on throughput, packet-processing rate, latency, jitter, buffer utilization, CPU and memory efficiency, packet-processing pipelines, and hardware performance across Ethernet MAC, PHY, switch, NIC, and packet-processing platforms, including pre-silicon and post-silicon evaluation. The engineer will collaborate with architects, hardware designers, firmware developers, driver teams, and performance architects to resolve bottlenecks and improve performance for data center and edge networking applications.
