Description

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior CUDA Driver Engineer to develop, debug, stabilize, and deploy CUDA driver software for new silicon, architectures, and mobile system-on-chip devices. The role covers pre-silicon simulation and emulation, CUDA enablement, API and programming-model improvements, cross-team collaboration, and development across multiple operating systems. Candidates need a BS or MS in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least five years of systems software development experience, strong C and parallel programming skills, and experience with multithreaded programs and operating-system interfaces. The base salary range is 152,000 USD to 241,500 USD for Level 3 and 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD for Level 4, with equity and benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of relevant systems software development experience
Experience with operating system interfaces for threads, process control, and virtual memory
Experience writing and debugging multithreaded programs
Background working with large codebases
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of system-level architecture, including interconnects, memory hierarchy, interrupts, and memory-mapped I/O
Knowledge of memory coherence and consistency models
