NVIDIA is hiring a Linux Power and Thermal Management Software Engineer to develop and optimize power and thermal management software for Tegra SoC and embedded platforms. The role involves implementing Linux kernel and user-space features, collaborating with hardware and software engineers on power estimation and optimization, and improving compute, memory, latency, power, and system-level performance for edge AI and robotics workloads. Candidates need an MS in a relevant engineering or software/hardware engineering field or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of software development experience focused on Linux, strong C programming and debugging skills, embedded systems and ARM experience, and system-level debugging expertise. The base salary is 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD, with equity and benefits, and applications were accepted until September 25, 2026.
