NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Systems Software Engineer to improve the CUDA Driver and related systems software for AI, deep learning, HPC, and other GPU-accelerated applications. The role involves developing and validating performance-critical features, diagnosing workload-level performance problems, optimizing CPU–GPU coordination and interconnects, establishing platform performance goals, and mentoring engineers. Candidates need a relevant advanced degree or equivalent experience, at least seven years of systems-software development experience, strong C/C++ and concurrency expertise, and demonstrated software-performance improvement skills. The position is hybrid and offers a base salary of 184,000–287,500 USD for Level 4 and 224,000–356,500 USD for Level 5, plus equity and benefits.
