The Simulation Test Engineer will own system-level simulation testing for autonomous driving software, focusing on virtual verification and validation of perception and autonomous systems. The role includes planning simulation test campaigns, developing V&V strategies, maintaining scenario libraries, identifying testing gaps, coordinating simulation toolchains, and analyzing test results. Candidates need a bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience or a master's degree with 3+ years of experience, along with experience in autonomous vehicle simulation, scenario development, test procedures, Python and YAML scripting, Linux troubleshooting, and stakeholder reporting. The US pay range is $153,200 to $183,800.
