Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, at least five years of complex hardware-systems experience, electromechanical and systems-integration expertise, railroad operations and train-control software experience, and structured safety and compliance documentation skills. The target salary range is $163,000 to $180,000 USD.
