Description
The Senior Systems Engineer defines, develops, integrates, and validates system-level architectures for advanced traffic sensing, detection, communication, and control products and systems. The role provides technical leadership across the product development lifecycle, translating market, customer, regulatory, and operational needs into requirements, architectures, interfaces, and verification strategies. It spans electrical hardware, embedded software, communications, networking, power, mechanical systems, and IoT/cloud services, and includes requirements management, technology evaluation, platform architecture, trade studies, risk management, integration, verification and validation, troubleshooting, and support through product introduction and sustaining engineering.
