Description
VAST Data is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support enterprise storage sales and customer deployments. The role includes customer evaluations and benchmarks, system configuration and installation, collaboration with R&D on product requirements and usability, technical ownership of customer accounts, creation of repeatable solution architectures, and development of system and field engineering and support organizations. Candidates need at least five years supporting enterprise-storage sales to large IT organizations, plus expertise in storage architectures, file systems, virtualization, high-performance networking, enterprise security, analytics and web frameworks, and strong presentation and communication skills.
