VAST Data is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support enterprise storage sales and customer deployments. The role involves customer evaluations and benchmarks, system configuration and installation, collaboration with R&D on product requirements and usability, technical ownership of customer accounts, creation of repeatable solution architectures, and development of systems and field engineering capabilities. Candidates should have at least five years of experience supporting enterprise storage sales to large IT organizations, plus expertise in storage products and architectures, file systems, virtualization, high-performance networking, enterprise security, analytics and web frameworks, technical presentations, and strong communication skills.
