VAST Data is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support enterprise storage sales and customer deployments. The role includes assisting with evaluations, benchmarks, configurations, and installations; partnering with R&D on product requirements and specifications; owning technical responsibilities in customer accounts; creating repeatable solution architectures; developing systems and field engineering teams; and advising on support organization design. Candidates need at least five years supporting enterprise storage sales to large IT organizations, along with expertise in distributed storage, file systems, DAS/NAS/SAN, virtualization, high-performance networking, enterprise security, analytics and web frameworks, technical presentations, and strong communication.
